Monsanto Wins Big Award in a Biotech Patent Case
A federal jury awarded $1 billion in damages to the crop biotechnology leader Monsanto on Wednesday, saying that its arch rival DuPont had willfully infringed a patent covering Roundup Ready soybeans.
